Humpty Dumpty (Unedited)
From Daily Life
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the King's horses & all the King's men
put Humpty Dumpty together again
He then recovered from his fall;
and, sued the builder of the wall,
who sued the horses & men for coming late,
who blamed the King for a command delayed
Some are blaming the solid ground,
no safety nets, all hard & brown
I put the accusation on gravity
to end all arguments in this poetry

Paradox of the Therapist
The therapist counsels
his patients at his best;
recommending how feelings
ought to be expressed,
not bottled & tossed
into the back-burner,
but, communicated
by partner to partner
The therapist prescribes
dose of honesty--
Promises only
vowed for delivery
Relationship oaths
are for solidifying;
not to be said
if they will just be crumbling
The therapist emphasizes
on forgiveness--
the saving glory
of a couple's brokenness
Still, he feels like
it is blind leading the blind;
as he signs divorce papers
his wife has filed
